Inaugural activities for the Center of Legal Innovation, Development and Research for Latin America will take place in Monterrey, Mexico from October 19th. to the 21st. The creation of this Center is a joint initiative by the Garrigues Law Firm and the Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey [Monterrey Institute of Technology], with the purpose of debating legal topics which are relevant to the region.
One of the most important activities is the selection of one hundred jurists from all of the Ibero-American countries. Ramon Ricardo Arias, a partner of Galindo, Arias & Lopez, has been chosen to be part of this select group. This group of jurists will develop intellectual and professional activities within four work areas: private legal relations, new technologies, justice administration, and good corporate governance. Furthermore, being supported by a technological and virtual platform, they will be in constant communication and permanent discussion of the subjects and legal initiatives which are of importance to the Latin American area. |
