Galindo, Arias & López is pleased to announce the incorporation of Ricardo Alberto Lombana González as an associate lawyer.
Mr. Lombana earned his degree in Law and Political Science from University of Panama (Panama, 1998); and a Master of Laws LL.M in International & Comparative Law from The George Washinton University Law School (USA, 2001). Recipient of the "Thelma Weaver Memorial Award", awarded to the international student who contributed most to the intellectual and professional life of the Law School. He also participated in the Joint Program of the University of Oxford and The George Washington University in International Human Rights Law (England, 2001) and the Program of Instruction for Lawyers of the Harvard University (USA, 2001).
Prior to joining the firm, he worked at Corporación La Prensa as Assistant Editor of Diario La Prensa (the corporation's top publication). He was Deputy Chief of Mission of the Embassy of Panama in the United States (to the White House) and Consul General of Panama in Washington, DC. He was also the first Special Rapporteaur for Freedom of Expression at the Ombudsman Office in Panama. He started his carreer as an associate for J.A. Fernandez & Asociados.
Starting this June, he joined the team of Galindo, Arias & Lopez to apply his skills and expertise in the areas Corporate Law, International Law, Project Financing, Infraestructure, Government Contracts and Litigation. |
