New associates include Jose Luis Sosa, Felipe Escalona Boyd and Hernán De León.
Jose Luis Sosa has joined the firm to develop his practice on Commercial and Maritime Law, where he advises clients in all aspects of admiralty and maritime law, including ship registration and ship finance transactions, among others.
Jose Luis Sosa holds a Degree in Law and Political Science from the University Santa Maria La Antigua (Panama, Magna Cum Laude, 2007). Further, he earned a Master of Laws LL.M in Securities and Financial Regulations from the Georgetown University.
Felipe Escalona Boyd develops his professional practice in Corporate Law and Insurance Law.
He earned a Degree in Law and Political Science from University Santa María la Antigua, (Panama, Magna Cum Laude, 2007) and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Instituto de Empresa Business School, Madrid, Spain
Hernán De León holds a Degee in Law and Political Science from University of Panama (Panama, 1996), a MBA from Universidad Latina (Panama, 1999), a Master Degree in Commercial Law form University Santa María La Antigua (Panama, 2001), Master in Justice Administration – Procedural Law from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México – UNAM (México D.F., 2002). He also participated in Postgraduate Courses from Universidad Carlos III (Madrid, Spain 2005 and 2007).
Prior to joining the firm he worked for the Judicial Court of Panama. He was also the National Director of Complaints against the Public Administration and Legal Advisor at the Ombudsman Office in Panama.
Hernán De León develops his professional practice in the areas Civil Law, Procedural Law and Commercial Law.
