Experience
Private practice with GALINDO, ARIAS & LOPEZ since 1995, with emphasis on commercial law (specialized in intellectual and industrial property rights) providing legal advice and representation to multinational corporations, including banks and commercial companies; counsels insurance and Colón Free Zone-based companies in judicial and administrative procedures, legal defenses before Panama's and the Free Zone's Customs authorities and legal defenses in cases involving violations of Public Health regulations/sanitation registration. Further experience includes roles in key mergers and acquisitions among some of Panama's leading banks and insurance companies, as well as execution of several legal and corporate audits. Ms. Herrera is now in charge of structuring the Industrial Property department in the firm; Director and Secretary: TECHOLIT, S.A., FIBROPAN, INC.
